Set the phone up once.

  • Wipe the lens. One smudge ruins every shot.
  • 4K · 30fps if your phone offers it.
  • HDR on.
  • iPhone: Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible.

Elbows tucked in. Move from your hips, not your wrists. A cheap gimbal helps — but isn't required.

Walk it like a buyer would.

One continuous shot per floor

Don't stop-start dozens of tiny clips. One smooth take per level.

Half your walking speed

Slow, steady. Slow pans only — never whip the camera around.

Pause 2–3 seconds in every corner

Those pauses become your photos. Stop, hold steady, let the room settle, then move on.

Two angles — living room & bedrooms

Living room: two opposite corners. Each bedroom: one from the doorway looking in, then one from a corner inside.

Rule 2 — the #1 mistake

Keep it level. Never tilt up or down.

Natural light is free and flattering. Shoot mid-morning to mid-afternoon for interiors.

💡 Switch on everything

Lamps, ceiling lights, under-cabinet lights — all ON. Open every blind and curtain fully.

🚫 Never film a dark room

Too dark? Add a lamp, open a door for light, or use the phone torch as a last resort.

Buyers fall for the facade, the pool and the garden before they ever see a bedroom. Spend real time outside — walk the whole perimeter, slowly.

  • Stand ON the balcony and shoot OUTWARD. The view is the hero — not the railing.
  • Hold the view 3–4 seconds. Downtown: frame the Burj. Marina: water + masts + skyline.
